After some testing, 3/8 is not as accurate as I want. The clicks are very subtle at 20 ft lb as some folks said before and the actual torque is about 23. The rating on 3/8 is also much lower on HF website vs. 1/2. 1/2 has much better build quality. The website says 10-150 ft lb but the box says 20-150. I'll keep the 1/2 and return 3/8.

I just replaced my Pittsburgh Pro, under warranty, but it got me started and opened the door to lots of repairs that would have been uncomfortable to do otherwise. It's a great starter wrench and adequate for continued use if you're willing to test it occasionally
