Not familiar with the other brands capability but the M12 ratchets will allow you to manually break the nuts loose from the list you mentioned then you simply power them off quickly and effortlessly.
changed my oil, transmission, transfer fluid and rear differential today using a 3/8' breaker bar and can by hard in tight space underneath the car so i wanted to see if this has enough power to substitute the breaker bar initially

I found those 20 v ratchet tools are too big to be useful. I changed a timing belt on an Odyssey this weekend. I had to take most of the bolts out using manual ratchets because of the tight space. I think Milwaukee 12 v probably will work better. There is a even smaller version from Ryobi, but it has too many negative reviews.

The bigger batteries actually are not good in terms of using it in tight spaces.

yeah but you can sell them for 50 bucks a pop (or more if you're willing to wait a day or two probably, they should sell instantly at 50 bucks each) and pay even less for the tool

i see. u dont really need it after you manually loosen with a breaker bar as most is loosen by hand. i wanted to see if this can substitute a breaker bar initially in tight space underneath the car

thanks
These tools are for speed not breaking things loose. Milwaukee makes a right angle impact for that job, but tbh it's not that great. These are a godsend removing long bolts or a large quantity of bolts even if you have to break them loose with something else first.

Wish there was a 2569-20 deal. I've never seen one.
This high speed ratchet is my top basic tool otherwise. I had a 18v Ingersoll rand before getting the slower version and didn't use it much, but used the smaller Milwaukee one all the time. Then got this one and the older fuel one but that has a fatter head that makes it annoying.

Each tool has a purpose. As someone else mentioned, thr ratchet is great when spinning long bolts off.

But, it saves time and effort when spinning lots of bolts as well.

If you're removing 1 plug to drain oil and 1 plug to drain your trans, then it would be of little benefit.

But, if you are removing 14 bolts to remove your oil pan to change the gasket. 12 bolts to drop the trans pan, 9 bolts on each of your 2 valve covers to change those gaskets, an electric ratchet makes life soooo much easier.

Take the trans pan for example. 8mm bolts that are low torque, so you just use the electric. Socket on bolt, 1/8th twist to break, then hit trigger and its off in 2 seconds. On to the next one. All 12 bolts off in under 2 mins with almost 0 effort. When you put pan back on, hand thread all bolts to start then grab ratchet and zip to snug. Give 1/4 turn manually then on to next one. Finish with torque wrench.

When i first looked at getting one, i considered it a luxury. Now? It's a necessity.

Impact wrench is same way. Sure, i can use a breaker and then a lug wrench or ratchet and remove lugnuts in 5 mins. Or, i can use an impact wrench and spin them off in 10 seconds with the press of a finger.

.

We use these ratchets to initially loosen bolts manually, then hit tge trigger frequently without issue.

I agree with Mike, was just changing an alternator, loosened a long bolt in a tight space, but you're in a situation where you can use a big ratchet, what saved me was a tiny quarter inch ratchet, but if I had this I would've just pressed a button and that long bolt would come out easily, this could've saved me a lot of time
