I just got a Sony A90k 42 from the BB deal. now I am guessing in returning and get this Samsung...

Never mind... This Samsung has been named the King of Ghosting, horrible response time and view angles

VA panel

While the monitor itself isnt that bad for this price, it does have too many cons to purchase it.

-The stand is going to wobble, it needs a mounting arm or wall mount.
-The samsung software will drive you crazy, also if used as a PC the app menu is pointless since you have a browser on your pc.
-There are minimal dimming zones on this huge monitor, compared to the 32 size twin with many more dimming zones. Its kind of oxymoronic why they would put more dimming zones on the 32 size instead of the 43 size.

I cant say anything about the ghosting claims, I didnt test it for that long but its only real use would be for movies and entertainment since the blacks are decent. Since there is limited dimming zones, you will get the Halo effect here.

Samsung is pretty desperate to move stock from this failed monitor it seems with such a low price... I mean I wouldnt mind it for this price but still it would be a headache haha...Your call guys and gals.

The stand is rock solid. I've never had any wobble with it. Other points were YRMV.

I bought this 2 years ago at BB for half off. It was a decent deal then, great deal now. Used for PC/XBSX and worked wonderfully. Bad panels are a thing, and your mileage may vary with CS, IF you get a lemon. Good luck.

I have had this monitor for over a year now. Bought it for 499. I have not seen any ghosting. I use this mainly as a computer monitor and I am happy with the refresh and response rate and would but it for this price in a heart beat.

Is there a way to disable the remote on this? I have a Samsung tv in my room and turning it on turns off my Samsung m7 monitor. I've had to use SmartThings to prevent this

I bought this for $380 during the last deal. I only use it for PS4/PS5 gaming and streaming tv/movies. For these purposes, it works great. I couldn't find anything close to this monitors size/specs for $380.

Guys... If the type of panel isn't specified in the listing it's clear there's something off. They don't put VA in there because they know how trash they are. I had a curved VA G5 from Samsung and my God it was unplayable at 144hz, no setting or adjustment helped it. Just never buy VA
