Shows $430 to me.

How does this Quantum Mini LED compare to IPS? I'd use to for productivity, not gaming.

Thanks!

EDU is education pricing. EPP is employer purchase program I believe. Discounts you get for your employer being partnered with Samsung.

Not the lowest. I've seen $380 on this model. If you all have other things to buy, this price can be had regularly on Samsung.com using EPP/EDU.

Is the smearing still bad on this monitor? General consensus was that this wasn't a good monitor, which is probably why it's so heavily discounted.

This has been my daily driver for full-time work for over a year. 100% satisfied. I originally thought it might be too big for my desk, but could never go back now. Can't say how it compares to an IPS, only that I am very happy with this display.

I don't think it's "too big". I'm planning to put two of them on a 150cm / 5ft (standard) IKEA desk actually.

One thing to note it that a 43" 4K screen will show individual pixels. It has the same pixel density as a 21.5" 1080p display, obviously. It's not terrible, but it's also not great. We'll need to wait another 8 years before OLED 6K/8K screens are at this price (and our laptops are capable of driving two of them).
