I bought this once and immediately returned it due to poor viewing angles and the fact that it's really more of a TV than a monitor in terms of turning on and off, handling inputs, etc. I have a 3 ft deep desk, pushed it back until the stand was hanging off the edge, and still had a lot of issues with uniformity. I'd recommend at least a 4 ft viewing distance, which makes this a pretty bad monitor unless you have a very unconventional setup.

Wish this was IPS, VA panel is going to be rough with the viewing angle washout. If your close enough, Looking at the center the edges left and right will be washed out since VA has such a narrow viewing angle.

If this deal was available when I purchased a Best Buy, 48" LG B5 for $550 last month - minus the $30 price match for Black Friday, I would have purchased this Samsung instead!

If you surf the EPP site for a few minutes, a $50/10% off one item coupon should pop up making this $350 deal even better at $315!

This is a great price for anyone that needs large screen real estate for Office productivity that just so happens to casual game on the side as well. 👍

IPS screens have high blooming compared to VA, even if both are equipped with MiniLEDs. Panel type absolutely matters.
