I bought this once and immediately returned it due to poor viewing angles and the fact that it's really more of a TV than a monitor in terms of turning on and off, handling inputs, etc. I have a 3 ft deep desk, pushed it back until the stand was hanging off the edge, and still had a lot of issues with uniformity. I'd recommend at least a 4 ft viewing distance, which makes this a pretty bad monitor unless you have a very unconventional setup.

Wish this was IPS, VA panel is going to be rough with the viewing angle washout. If your close enough, Looking at the center the edges left and right will be washed out since VA has such a narrow viewing angle.

This was 250ish a while back and I got it, its definitely good for the price but you'll have to watch a tuning video on YouTube to dial in the settings. The stock tuning is so bad, also for whatever reason setting it to 120hz rather than 144 significantly reduces ghosting. The perfect use case for this is as a dual utility TV/monitor for a kids room that wants to use it for both, as its closer to a smart tv than a monitor.

If this deal was available when I purchased a Best Buy, 48" LG B5 for $550 last month - minus the $30 price match for Black Friday, I would have purchased this Samsung instead! If you surf the EPP site for a few minutes, a $50/10% off one item coupon should pop up making this $350 deal even better at $315! This is a great price for anyone that needs large screen real estate for Office productivity that just so happens to casual game on the side as well. 👍 Great find and price imho!
No, the B5 is far better than this in nearly every metric. Even with the price difference.

Will this do PBP with 2 inputs? Getting conflicting info on my search, early reviews say no but later reviews say maybe, not sure if there was a update to the multiview.

Direct user experience is certainly better than just saying "VA panel bad!"

I bought this earlier this year for about this price. It's not a bad monitor but IMO 43" in this aspect ratio is not particularly comfortable at normal distances for computer usage and the PPI is on the low side. Text is just a tiny bit fuzzy- not the fault of the monitor per se as much as the resolution at this size. A 27" 1440p is almost the same PPI to give you an idea.
For the price i'm not dissatisfied but I probably would have just stuck with 32" 4ks or 27" 1440s if I knew then what I know now. It would make a decent tv or media consumption monitor.

i have this monitor, replace acer predator 3440x1440. spec wise you cant beat it, i use 9070xt and its perfect. Only issue is sometimes it wont wake up properly but a simple off and on via remote clears it right up.

Not at all. There are many reasons to choose this monitor over something like the B5 aside from price (which is definitely a good one, considering it is almost half the price when discounted):
1) you won't have to worry about burn-in, especially if you use it with static screens for work
2) since it's a monitor (and not a TV) it plays well with your existing setup without extra software
3) the screen is not glossy, so you don't have to worry about reflections from windows or light sources in your room
4) the refresh rate for gaming is better than the B5
5) the 48" B5 is, in practice, quite a bit larger when it comes to actual desk space - so the effective PPI becomes much worse unless you have a very deep desk and don't mind sitting much further away from your monitor

1) Unless you really really abuse it, a B5 will not get burn in
2) The only thingmost people care about that the B5 won't do is wake from sleep, you will need to power it on and off each time
3) B5 screen is not glossy, it is matte
4) 24 fps refresh rate difference will not be noticable to most, and at 4k most modern games won't get that high regardless
5) 43" is already absurdly big for a desk, going to 48 won't be much of a difference with a proper setup

6) This monitor in this OP is almost literal trash, that is why it is so cheap. It is very "smeary" in fast moving situations, not worth it even at this price (imo of course)

I've had this monitor for about a year and while it's certainly not nearly as bad as this guy implies, it isn't beating the B5 on anything but price, imo. It's a big, bright, sharp screen for little money and really it shouldn't perform like a model that (as of today) is almost twice the price. It is just a re-badged tv, but it works very well as a PC monitor.

This was panned super-hard when it came out because it doesn't perform like the $1000 launch price implied and a lot of people parrot those initial reviews to this day. But at $350-$400, I've never seen a better option. Though I would welcome any advise on similarly spec'ed models that perform better at this price point.

I do think this performs better at 120hz than 144hz. Seems like they were reaching for a marketing point on that one

does this have restocking fee for return?

debating whether to get this, but it might be too tall for my desk
It can be a better idea to use a measurement tape in order to understand whether it will fit or not.

I've been using a 40" 4K VA monitor for the last 8 years and have zero issues with the viewing angle on a large desk. Just recently ordered this 43" as an upgrade.
