ADB Appcontrol is probably the easiest solution for people unfamiliar with adb. It provides you with step by step instructions and a GUI, so you don't have to do everything by command line. https://adbappcontrol.com/en/

Just run the debloat wizard and it'll give you recommendations on what to disable.

Watch out on unintended consequences of this deal! I tried using the steps outlined and had to call to find out why I was ineligible.

I called and they got me the deal but I think i no longer get free Amazon Prime as a long time Metro account holder. They messed with my account to make me eligible and in hindsight I'd rather get Amazon Prime for free than an unneeded tablet for $20.

Anyone else get the message: Please contact us to complete your order? I'm trying to order my first tablet from metro.
You need to provide more info. When did you activate your voice line? The best way to guarantee your tablet order will go through is order the tablet directly from the phone.

I activated my voice line today. Got my order through using data/lower case last name, unsure which one did the trick.

Activated it but still same message of not able to order a second tablet.
Not sure if this is the issue but it might take a few minutes from when you activate it until you can order the new one. One way to tell is when you sign into your account on the list of your lines if there is a button on top to press to add a line then you should be able to add a new one.

Also do phones count towards the device limit? Recently ordered 2 iphone 12s to my address, different names, different credit cards. Ordered a tablet through data earlier today and wanted a tablet on the other line too but wasn't able to get anything through.

It worked the way you described. Thanks!
Went directly to my dashboard account on the APP, not on the computer browser, and there was an option to add a line.
And you're right, the first ordered tablet has to be activated before trying to order a second one.

Wouldn't work on the computer browser after clicking on the SD link and logging in.

But those who already have a Metro line with the low prices and better features of the past years better read this to avoid losing those lines/plans:

https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=172377075&postcount=315

Metro seems to be on the way of going out of business as it has changed its plans price/features structure to be on the very expensive side and non-competitive with other MVNNOs.
Also, it no longer has a retention dept as it was deleted with just customer service now that has no power to offer retention deals/plans.
This is not a company that wants to retain customers.

4 voice lines total.
Tablets are hard to say because many variables. Some people can't manage to get more than 2, some have done over 10.

In the previous sale period I got 7 and I considered it lucky after many denies or cancellations at the end of the ordering process.

Use Mobile phone. Clear data/cache on the browser. Then try to order.

I would have done it online if that was an option. Looks like my address is no longer letting me order any new devices.
I also feel my address has been "blacklisted". This was my third time setting up a new account since March and nothing has worked after the second tablet order this time. On my previous orders, I bought 8 phones on one, and one phone plus 4 tablets on the other.

If they had iPhone 11 in stock, I wouldn't mind trying a fourth account.

Even a new account under my wife's name didn't work for me. I was trying to order an iPhone 12 for the Pixel trade in deal, but ran into the same "contact us to order" message. And I have only ordered 3 tablets and 1 phone this year, and ordered nothing last year from them.
