Yeah I've been watching generator prices for a few weeks between several sites that's a good price on a champion inverter generator for that wattage. I just need something bigger.

Keep in mind these "Quiet Technology" open frame inverters are still super loud.

Other than that I've had no issues with mine. If I knew how loud it was going to be though, I would have saved up and just got a closed frame one.

If I find a great sale one one, I would probably still go that route and sell mine.

If you don't care about loud, they're good bang for the buck.

Bought this just after Xmas last year on Amazon for $400 plus change. Its last years model (no CO2 alarm) and a good little performer, thought it has low headroom. It kept me and two neighbors running through Beryl with three fridges, one freezer, and a small widow AC running comfortable, but not big enough to run an installed AC even with a soft start. Its loud but wouldn't notice it if in back yard, and we went for an open frame generator for better cooling and a cheaper price. no problem with any of the electronics or UPS units, but we bought it for our annual winter power issues in Texas, not to run during the summer. In hindsight I might have bought a bigger one to run the built in HVAC, but at the price I got it twas no brainer. Very easy to change the oil
