The lowest of 24.99 was in late 2023 when chip prices were at record lows and the fabs were losing money. So starting in Q1 2024 they all started raising prices and as a result memory prices have skyrocketed in 2024

I can't believe Amazon still allows Chinese sellers to commingle their inventory with inventory directly from Samsung. It's insanity.

Amazon show 3% 1 star reviews.. mostly due to fakes.. if you want to be sure, get it from best buy.

Alternately, Samsung direct has the Evo Select version on sale for $39.99 (160mbps vs 130mbps for Evo Plus).

That said, I do observe that of the four vendors mentioned in this thread, only AliExpress show this product in its retail packaging.

No switch. Suyu standalone runs good on the deck (and ally z1 extreme). You'll need to source your own backups ofc. Not sure there's an image with switch tbh or even if batocera has cores/emus for it

Awesoooooome, if I wanted to add additional games or remove ones I don't want, is it a colossal pain or easy to do? Never used batocera on Any device.

unfortunately that's not possible. may i ask why do you need that capability? every fake i have purchased in the past, the retailer hasn't asked for the product to be shipped back, i mean what the heck are they going to do with a fake card? it's not like they won't believe you.

we know there are fakes still circulating. for this particular brand and size, not so much. if it's going to fake, you can bet there won't be any visual cues.

Received this from Amazon and I think it's my first counterfeit micro SD card. Gets super hot when I put it into my system and won't format. Also says size is 7.6GB. I think I'll just return for refund

I tested mine (from BB) in my Metro Samsung a9+ tablet using A1SD Bench and got read 83.74 MB/s and Write 51.83 MB/s
Isn't this rather low?

hey man sorry, just saw this. it's not bad as long as you have a linux machine. the steam deck will lock you out of editing the batocera image on SD card but make a pw and do some sudo chown command: https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDec...rmissions/
