Not much of one. I bought 4000mhz for my 5800x a few years ago, but the fastest stable config I could manage was 1900/1900/1900 for the three clocks which works out to 3800 mhz on the RAM. I think that pretty much all of the AM4 chips will work with 3600mhz memory with no issue, but someone that concerned about squeezing every last bit of performance probably isn't going to buy a 5800x these days anyway.

For this price it's a pretty hot deal.

It's not, the RAM costs $57 so it puts the 5800x at $133, then add another $30 for a cooler (since it has no cooler) and now the 5800x jumps to $163 and the deal jumps to $220.

The 5600x has dropped to $100 before and includes a cooler so better to wait for the 5600x price to drop or just buy it now since the 5600x comes with a cooler and you don't get any more gaming performance beyond a 5600x.

I'm a little behind the curb knowledge wise. I've used AliExpress for various purchases, but never for cpu's. I'd like to know more. Any issues on quality, or shipping damage? Any issues with compatibility, bent pins, or getting the wrong item?

I love me some money saving tips (hello Slickdeals) and don't mind the wait. A little bit hesitant and have been looking for a cheap upgrade by the beginning of next year (basically was going to wait until after Black Friday and any other holiday sales.)

no. I have 3200mhz ram on my 5900x and it's 100% fine. 3600mhz might be better but it's negligible
