I've been happy with this card, especially since they will waive the $99. fee if you ask. Ask for retentions department if a rep will not waive.

If you had a business card with them before will they not issue miles on this one? Don't want to risk the annual fee cost. They seem to have strict rules like Amex now so that they don't give you bonus miles if you have ever had cards with them before.

How to Avoid Paying Interest on Purchases (excluding Easy Pay): You can avoid paying interest on purchases if you pay your purchase balance subject to interest (excluding Easy Pay Offers) plus any monthly Easy Pay Payment Amount in full by the Payment Due Date every month. If you do not pay your purchase balance subject to interest (excluding Easy Pay Offers) plus any monthly Easy Pay Payment Amount by the due date each month, you will pay interest from the date purchases are posted to your account until the date you pay those Purchases in full. To avoid a late fee, you should pay at least the minimum payment due on your account each month.
Balance Transfer - While the Balance Transfer option is nice (15 months of 0.00% APR on balance Transfers - realize that they charge a 5% Balance Transfer Fee - That's $500 on a $10,000 Balance Transfer - Weigh your options carefully and if you do a Balance Transfer - PAY it OFF before the 15 months.

Enjoy your next vacation or trip!!!

With Barclays, you can earn a welcome bonus on the same card multiple times as long as you close the card first and then wait at least 24 months to apply again

Did you closed it? Since how long?

Thanks for posting the fine print , I was intending to post later. But he mentioned that he had one before not currently, so as long he closed his account 2 years ago, he still get the bonus miles on new application.

I think you are wrong. At least as far as personal cards go. I am not sure if businesses cards are different department. 24 months rule obviously doesn't apply here any more. No I am not wrong , you can get the signup bonus on personal card again, there are people that got one after 8 month of closings account, but according to too many experts the wait is 2 years. Barclay aviator application team says as long as you get approved again you get the bonus but I recommend to wait 2 years to be safe. Their wording may is definite for current holders but the word may for already had account , have possibility but not definite ,as they may not approve you ,but if approved then you get the bonus miles.

Did they waive the 99 on first year? Or which years? . I was only successful to waive fee on 2nd year, but 1st and 3rd year failed to get it waived even after asking for retention, supervisor and manger.

I thought paying the $95 annual fee for first year part of the requirement for earning the 70k SUB? At least in app that's showing as an unfulfilled requirement for welcome bonus

It's not actually enforced.
