Doesn't seem to be the hall effect version. No idea about the original price then. Currently $5 less than Amazon. Good deal!

I see the hall effect updated model on Amazon but I don't see this model brand new available from Amazon seller.

* I see a couple USED models of the 80GL on Amazon from 3rd party seller on Amazon for $30 but they are used with wear and tear.
