I got that Akorn but smaller deal a few months back.. just right for one guy. My cheap LP grill would dry out the meat. It was $150 on sale for $99 SD rocks

I've been researching charcoal grills lately... and what i learned is kamado joe and masterbuilt got acquired by equity firm that are milking it. The companies aren't what they used to be so don't expect warranty/CS to be pleasant experience.

I recommend sticking with the ceramic grill and not this metal grill (only have ceramic inserts). Plus the air leak issue even after I added gasket seal. I wouldn't buy it even at $200. That's my 2 cents. For $300, I would recommend buying a Weber grill and the Spider adapter to convert the charcoal grill to a pellet grill.
