No 8GB debate yet? Fine, I'll go first. 8GB is a trash-tier spec that's usable enough for people who only use a computer for the things you can already use a low-mid level phone for.

I know. My two month old M3 MacBook Air (upgraded to 24GB) is constantly using 10GB of memory with just a few Firefox tabs open. Do you think the 8GB models are just always using the SSD for extra memory as needed?
Can somebody who purchased an 8GB model confirm memory usage with Activity Monitor?

I would like to get a used to avoid 15% restock on new one if u open sad 😞 But with M4 around, only pay 550-600 ish ! No more.
