60w is very dim, do not buy these for important/often used areas of the house

Keep in mind that the brighter ones (75w & 100w) only applies to the white LEDs. Color is still the same brightness across the three (unless they've since changed that, correct me if I'm wrong).

I mean, it depends on how you use the room and how many bulbs you have. I have nine 60w Hue bulbs in my living room for example, and more often than not I only have a few of them on at partial power. Five in the bedroom... again, more than enough.

They do have 75w and 100w color now for your standard bulbs, at least. Not as sure about flood lights and such. They've been clearing out the old stock at Home Depot and Lowe's for many Hue products and I assume it's to make room for the newer, brighter versions of everything. I picked up a pack of these since it's about the cheapest I've seen them since I got some from my power company a few years ago. They're plenty bright for my needs. But the newer bulbs are more expensive. Like, $50/bulb in a three pack at Home Depot right now.

I meant that the 75/100w "color ambiance" bulbs have the brighter whites but that doesn't apply to the colors. Unless that's that you mean- new versions of those bulbs are brighter across the entire spectrum, which would be a nice update (even if my wallet would hate it)

Ah, you might be right. I haven't looked into it. I just saw the new ones and balked at the price. Definitely not worth it if only the whites are brighter. That's lame.

Is this a 3-pack of 10-packs?
How is $25 a bulb a good deal? That's more than 8-ft tube bulbs!

Hue bulbs are always pricey, it's a little bit outrageous, though they are Zigby bulbs which generally cost more than Wi-Fi or Bluetooth bulbs.

I've bought this 3 times now, and just added a 4th. I am slowly replacing all the cheap smart led bulbs in my home that would burn out or not work right. I've now bought a bunch of the remote switches too and use those instead of the actual hardwired switches.
