The HD app shows a price of $229 with a free gift. I added the " 20V MAX Lithium-Ion 6.0Ah and 4.0Ah Battery and Charger Starter Kit" and after adding both items to the cart, the planer showed as $106. This deal is hackable as you can cancel or return the batteries portion of the order.

Honestly at this price you could almost flip the batteries and charger and make it even cheaper, a 6.0, 4.0 slim and charger I'd expect to get 115 dollars flipping, bare minimum.

Looks like a glitch that was fixed? Batteries show $92 and the planer shows $106.

Isn't that the whole point? You buy both at $199 and return the batteries to keep the planner for $106.

Yes but it can be slow/tedious, stores have to mark it as picked up and then process a return, some do it right at the 7 days, some take weeks. I've found it easier to just order everything to my local store, pick up and then return the next day and just give them my order # and no other information when I say I want to return. Unless they scrutinize the computer it just processes it as a return for the pro-rated cost and you're on your way.

Awesome, great price for the planer. Selling batteries might get you $100 on marketplace so returning is preferred for ease. I've gotten probably all of my Dewalt tools on deals like this.

So, I have never done any of the "hacks" before..my question is, I can buy two batteries from HD and get a free tool. If I return the unopened batteries for a refund, does the free tool have to be returned with it or do I get to keep the free tool?
