For those that don't know, these digital Ryobi inflators can easily be reset to correct the PSI readings. Put a battery in, turn it on, hold + and - buttons together until the digital screen resets. This will make the reading accurate to within .5 psi if yours is not correctly calibrated from the factory

This beats the old version by miles. I switched all our crew to this style. No more waiting around to hold the trigger. Set the psi and it pumps to the exact number

I have this unit and use it regularly. The display only recently started showing 4 psi when not connected to anything. If I offset the limit accordingly, setting to 39 if I want 35, it will accurately inflate the tires to 35 according to my cars pressure sensors. The pump still works well I just need to pay attention to the baseline reading and set accordingly.

i just got this yesterday, definitely better than those Chinese Amazon brands that twice expensive and horrible cheap plastic builds.
Material is definitely better and already have Ryobi battery ecosystem.

The one on my trigger version is accurate to within a pound and a half, which isn't awful as these things go. However while it's inflating (while trigger is depressed) it will give an artificially high reading so I'd definitely verify the set-and-forget pressures with a professional gauge (if you have one available) after inflating. Generally speaking these things are consistently low or high in similar conditions (e.g. always reads 3 pounds low, etc), so once you know how it behaves you can adjust accordingly. You don't really need it to be accurate to be useful, just consistent.

In for one. I have a similar Xiaomi pump for my e-scooter, set it and forget it that I've used on my car from flat. But that one is expensive and I don't want to exhaust it from over-use. Plus I'm already in the Ryobi eco system and this is affordable so why not.

Just copped this. I like the set-it-and-forget-it. I also like not having to haul a compressor hose around 3 cars in my 3 car garage. Sound doesn't bother me one bit. I'll have to check the accuracy against whatever digital pressure gauge I have around.

He/she was talking about the old trigger one. You cannot set psi with that one and won't auto stop

I've had the dual inflator and used for it for years. I'm a big fan, but they do go bad after a while. I prefer having the ability to inflate pool toys and my inflatable kayak without passing out. The dual gets a lot of inflation from a regular 2ah battery

I'd grab the other one for its compact size if that's a concern.
