Got the S24 Ultra from recent Slickdeals and now I don't even care about these kinds of phone deals anymore.

I added up all the phones I bought from SlickDeals up to the S24 Ultra, all mid range phones and the total cost almost same as S24 Ultra. Best to just get the phone you really want rather than just chase after "deals".

Most of the deal phones either are shit Moto phones (which has 1 year of updates) or 3 year old iPhones.
