My Son In Law chatted with Discover online via their chat customer service on their website and asked if he could get a lower APR and they gave him for 12 months for 0.00% APR.
This is perfect time for the holiday season and they even gave it to me as well!
He suggusted I told my other family members about it so I thought I would share it here too.
Good luck all and I hope everyone else gets it too! I am sure not all will be able to get it but worth the try!

I definitely understand wanting a lower
APR, however your account isn't eligible
at this time because your account
because your rate is already at the lowest
rate for which your account is eligible You
will be receiving a letter in the mail
explaining the decision n more detail, and
those are generally received within 6
calendar days.
The great news is, those offers are
promotional, and while there isn't a
specific timeline as to when one may be
available, you're welcome to check back
any time! Some offers are even sent by
email, so I'd recommend keeping an eye
out on your inbox and junk mail as well!
Did you have any other questions I can
help with today?
I have the "IT" card it shows 0% Apr for card holders with that card. But it looks like for new customers only. I simply acted dumb and needed clarification. I was told it's only for new customers but I was approved for the 0% apr promotion as well.
It said 0% on purchases. I didn't even think to ask about transfers. I'm supposed to get some sort of email/ mail of the actual fine print.
READ the OP!
The OP said representative said to share with family and friends.
Just say Grandpa got it and was told to share and you would like it too. Simple.
Either you will get it or you wont. All these reps sitting at home taking these chats are probably freaking out with the influx of requests lol. They must think somebody has a very large family

I strongly advise against it.
Salt Lake City based company has zero support when things don't work or go wrong.
Only bank I have seen worse than this is Citi brand. Discover is the lowest of the low.
I've been a Discover user for 15 years. I've never had an issue. Twice my card # was stolen and the disputed charges came off immediately and with no hassle. We also accidentally reported a good charge because of the odd name and they looked into it and sent us a copy of the receipt. Typically we get about $700 in cash back each year and up that to about $900 in gift cards.
a note about his son in law. his daughter has picked a wrong one.
