CVS Info:

First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.

Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing

The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called ExtraCare Bucks (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.

Often, CVS advertises items as Free after ECB For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.

The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions then earning more to keep doing the same. Its a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

Got BT to bed. LT is stalling. Tomorrow is going to be awesome! Whee I have nothing scheduled!! I may go to Hobby Lobby & Kohls... or I may wait another week since it's so dang cold out there. Cold Just have carpool to do this week. Rock
I got the kid asleep by 8:30. I was so excited. laugh out loud

I'm with you on the cold weather. I figure I should get everything done tomorrow since it's supposed to get so much colder soon. This cold weather may justify my purchase of the Target Valentine's plush throw. It's sooooo soft and pretty!

I have night owls. I was the same way (still am sometimes), so I can't blame them. laugh out loud LT just gave up. He's the odd combo of night owl/early bird. Crazy I showed him the first number on the clock and said not to bug me until it says 6. This 2:30 wake up call is for the birds. Makes Mama cranky. Annoyed

It's going to be like real live winter here for the next 2 weeks or so! Cold This could suck.

It's supposed to be single digits here tonight. They'll probably cancel school tomorrow cause it's "too cold"...they did that last year...by 9 it was 29 degrees out and I was cursing the school. Too cold? I've got relatives way up North and they laugh when I tell them stuff like that. Then Wednesday night we're supposed to get snow so they'll probably cancel school Thursday even if it's just a light dusting. So we finally get the kids back in school tomorrow and they'll probably be cancelling it at least one day this week Facepalm

Roll 29 degrees is considered too cold? Roll That is a heat wave here! They don't even cancel school when it is 20-40 BELOW ZERO with the wind chill. They just keep them indoors for recess.

It has snowed every single day for the past 5 days. The winds need to die the fark down already. I'm sick and tired of having to snow blow because I have 3-4 foot snow drifts in front of my door.

Hey Autumn, we get 350-400 inches of snow per winter and I have never been stuck in the house. Snow doesn't stop us Roll

I KNOW!! Granted I think it was like 8 degrees in the morning with a below zero windchill but damn...bundle the kids up and take them to the bus or school. I don't think many kids walk to school but I imagine it would be easier for a parent to drive those kids to school one day than having to find a sitter or something. Sometimes...sometimes they cancel school because it MIGHT snow sometime during the day. MIGHT. I tell my Aunt up North and she just laaaaaaaaaaaaughs and laaaaaaaaaaaughs at us. It's embarrassing!! laugh out loud

It was something like 25 out today with an 11 windchill...I went out in jeans, a long sleeve teeshirt, a jacket and a thin scarf...the scarf mostly cause I wanted to add some color to the outfit, lol. I saw people coming out wearing farking parkas and those thick thick gloves and layers and wool scarves and it was just silly. They can't make it from the parking lot of Walmart to their cars without freezing up? I came from Florida and I'm not even that big of a wuss, lol.

I don't mind the cold, actually. I kind of like it. It's the heat I hate. I could go all winter without turning on the heat even when it's cold out like it is now but as soon as it gets hot out I turn on the air.

Btw...do you know when Matt is picking up his gift? (Thanks for letting it be shipped to you, btw hug )

I live in a place without A/C (and right now with a heater in my car lol) Actually, I've never used the A/C in my vehicle and rarely used the small window unit A/C I have.

Things are sort of the opposite here. I rarely wear a winter jacket. I get way too hot when I do. I'm perfectly fine wearing a thin zip up sweat shirt (unless I'm snow blowing, in which case I bundle the fark up because I'm terrible with wind direction and usually end up with several face fulls of snow lol)

I don't think I've ever been in 120 degree temps. Actually, we rarely even hit 90 or 100 here.

laugh out loud Yeah...that would suck. I just figure what's the point of bundling up so much when you go to the store..cause you know when you get in there they have the heat blasting at farking 80 and then you'd just have to take everything off. Usually by the time I leave the God awful hot store I'm glad for the cold outside, lol.

Do you ever take baths? Or just showers?
