Yeah I feel burned having paid $150ish for this closer to launch; lessons learned, Anker.

Just a heads up going forward, most things are going to go down in price and especially when you start approaching BF. There are a few items I've wanted recently but I haven't bought them because I've been waiting for sale season

I think we can all tolerate pricing going down, that's just the way things are. We know there are sales/promos and there are deals especially during the holidays and for the most part, everyone has the same awareness. However, with Anker there's a bit of disingenuous-ness with their prices being deceptive high and the ordinary consumer who is unaware can be easily fooled. Anker is subsidizing these lower prices later by fooling the gullible into believing their products are priced appropriately out the gate and they often have launch day "sales" and early bird discounts and special launch promos that don't even come close to what those product ultimately end up for sale.

I can understand the volatility you find with mobile phones and charging stations that age primarily due to successive models, features, discontinue, etc. and similar tech equipment but no way are cables and chargers and battery packs in that pack....which has led me to a general rule with Anker: The price on launch day, never pay more than half. $40 cables will end up being $17, $180 batteries will quickly drop to $99 and this $165 charger is not done at $99 expect to see it at $79 real soon. Unlike other products, that just feels slimy. Lesson learned. Always buy refurbs.

Yeah I seldomly buy anything at release. If I do i know I am paying a premium to get it now. I understand it bothering you, my point was hopefully you don't keep repeating the same mistake. Sometimes also companies just miss the mark on pricing and aren't getting the sales they expected and have to lower the price. $165 for a charger is crazy unless it outputs more power than it takes in lol

This is SD something has to be life changing for me to pay full price
