I'm on simple choice and I qualified. Already traded in two phones. One for a 9 pro xl and one for a regular 9. If you go to the product page and try from there it's gonna keep trying to add a line for the promo. You have to go to the number's profile and select upgrade from there.

update:
the rep left me on hold for like 5 minutes trying to see what could be done but she said there was nothing she could do without changing my rate plan.

I'll call again later

No idea, the store locator does not list what type of stores the are.
The ones with black logos are corporate or T-Mobile stores, the gray ones are authorized retailers.

The black ones say T-Mobile store when you click on them, the gray ones say T-Mobile authorized retailer.

What a disaster, I also got the order canceled but was already charged on the tax $66. I ordered on 12/2 as well for Google Pixel 9,128 GB,Wintergreen with the buds-A. Both 611 chat and TForce pretty much saying they cant do anything about it.
My order from the 4th was also cancelled - reached out to T-Force and they said they are aware of a system glitch that cancelled some orders. They had me submit a new order and it seemed to recognize the promos. They will be following up on Monday to make sure I'll have the same promo (just tax & free Pixel9 & Buds after monthly credits).

I hope it works out the same for me. They're asking me to replace the order but I only see 110 for pixel 7 tradein and not the original 800. I'm still on chat with them.

I'm on a Simple Choice plan. My 12/4 order got cancelled. This morning I tried to recreate it. The $800 trade-in doesn't appear (Promo ID240577), but the free buds do (ID240651). I'm not going to risk signing a new "EQUIPMENT INSTALLMENT PLAN (EIP) CONTRACT AND DISCLOSURES", "RETAIL INSTALLMENT CONTRACT", and "T-Mobile Trade-In Terms and Conditions" for a $110 "One-time bill credit". Several years ago I experienced billing errors for a poorly implemented promotion that took 4 cycles to correct. I'll pass on this as another example of a deal that was too good to be true (for Simple Choice plans).

My order was also canceled. I ordered on the 6th. Ordered the Pixel XL Pro Porcelain. Did the app chat. Their excuse was I didn't do the e-signature within 48 hours. I had all the documents and an email showing everything was signed and accepted.

They told me to reorder and they would manual enter the original promo for me. I am on the One Plan so the offer that was current was $500 off. The rep said they would call me on the 19th to verify that the original promo would be put through. New phone will be delivered today. Not opening it or turning in my trade in until they verify that I get the $800 off.

Yeah, the same for me. No trade-in promo for my Simple Choice, not even $500. Welp. At least I got one of those 9XLs back in November where they weren't backordered yet and T-Mobile didn't have a chance to strike me with this very convenient "system error". It would've been nice to get another one as a gift, but oh well...

yeah, mine showed only $30 for the S9 but when you go to checkout it showed the promo; i only paid tax ($56) same as last order and they said promo is added on backend and she would check back on Monday to be 100% sure it was added correctly. also - make sure you pick "pay in full" for the buds.

I paid about $92 for this s9 on eBay.

I'm not sure if I should keep trying for the pixel deal or just try to return the eBay s9

What plan are you on? No promos are showing up for those of us on Simple Choice

It's actually a free line but others are SWAC (Advantage Unlimited) lines on the account. To confirm - online checkout gave me free buds but only $30 for the S9 - T-Force rep said the monthly discount should be applied once orders processes and she would verify on Monday to make sure it was applied correctly. I have it in writing from them so not really too worried... She made it sound like it was a known issue and they were handling it.

After reading the comment following my last post, I reread the contract and placed another order. The contract states:
You have the right to cancel this agreement within 14 days (or more based upon where you made the purchase) of your acceptance and return the equipment in accordance with our return policy. If you exercise this right you will have no payment obligation under this agreement.
Yesterday a T-Mobile rep told me over the phone to re-order, then call back to apply the $800 trade-in promo retroactively. When I receive the 9 Pro XL, I won't open it nor submit my trade-in until I get confirmation of the retroactive $800 trade-in promo. I'll return the phone and keep my trade-in within 14 days if T-Mobile does not honor the $800 trade-in promo.

I figure this method is the only way T-Mobile can retroactively apply the $800 trade-in promo (ID240577) to just those with cancelled orders. Reactivating this promo to re-orders allows anyone (not just cancelled customers) to use it.

Yep - you'll be fine. They need a few days for all the parts of the order to go through their system and then they just apply the offer code on that line and will be good to go...

This is exactly my situation. Same plan, and the rep herself said that she saw some note about the cancellation being due to a system error and about all promos applicable at the time of the original order being honored for the re-order. She said she'd follow up with me on Friday. Fingers crossed.

Well, my representative told me last night that the billing credits would be applied manually and it might take a couple of billing cycles for them. That would be too late for me to return it
