Sorry, just copied the title from one of the previous threads.
There is photo with details and I always link previous FP threads for comments and more details.
But should have written better title anyway...

I'd blame a lot of those to users not having a properly spec'd USB-C. Not many non-Thunderbolt/USB4 can handle 4K60 output. I've seen ones as low as $7.19 for Miunruar unit that can do 4K/60hz and has a few more ports albiet slower (SD, USB-A x3, USB-C3.0 x1). Still available for that price today. So not unbelievable for these under $15 units to put out full 60hz.

Can the usb-c port be used as data connection? I have tried a few hubs on a usb-c extension cable and usb-c port as data connection is very flakey.

Nope, it's used only for power delivery (power input/passthrough).

How do you hook up the HDMI output to a DisplayPort on a monitor?

You'll need either an HDMI-to-DisplayPort adapter or HDMI-to-DisplayPort cable.

The adapter will allow you to use whatever HDMI cable you want (it has a female HDMI end) and the cable is all-in-one. HDMI on one end and DisplayPort on the other.

Coupon code is no longer appearing for me. Is the deal dead? I was really hoping to get a USB C hub with 3.5 mm audio as the headphone jack is broken on my laptop.

Purchased 30 for work, didn't work on the new Mac Mini M4 on boot while other adapters did. (Really weird)

Opened 3 and one had a 2 usb a ports that were bad. (Could not plug in a male usb a)
