Buy yourself an Aeron remastered chair on FB Marketplace and it'll be the last office chair you'll ever buy

I have this chair for over a year. It's mediocre and okay for light usage. Since last few weeks, it started sinking slowly. Every couple oh hours I have to lift to my required height. It's out of warranty; hence didn't bother to contact support.
Edit: just realized it has 7 years limited warranty. But not sure if the hydraulic system is covered.

I got this during a previous deal and heard praise from the community... I personally hate it and have been shopping for a new chair since. The mesh to the plastic under the hamstrings are so uncomfortable. 5'11 170 lb athletic male here and not a fan. Of course ymmv but just my two cents

I change my chair every year - this chair has some serious design issues if you're tall. I'm 6' and every time I use this chair, I have very bad back pain. My partner who's 5'6" seems to find it comfortable though. So if you're tall, strongly suggest avoiding it.

Went and tested it out in person. Was not very comfortable to sit in and the back rest was poorly designed. Whole chair felt awkward

No. I got one and it's pretty cheap feeling and not very comfortable. Had it about three weeks now when it last went on sale at this price.

I have owned two of these and the hydraulic canister lasts about 2-3 years depending on use, and from what I can tell is impossible/impractical to replace. It would be nice to find a chair that doesn't drop to the ground every time I sit in it. :/

Incredible chair/warranty for the price (only if it's under ~$135), been using 2 for 8 years, I am 6 feet tall. People love crapping on this chair and comparing it to Herman miller etc. this is not a $1000 chair.

I find it more than durable/comfortable enough.

I hate thsi chair. I hate this chair. I HATE this chair. I hate this damn thing so much everytimeI see these sales listed for it I need to come tell my survivor story about it.

I bought one circa 2017 and used it for years. I'd sit in it for just a couple
of hours a night and would often end up with a sore back. I was miserable. The piston failed on it at one point and had to be replaced. The mes his that super scratchy "productivity mesh" that causes people to go insane (as seen in the documentary, Better Off Ted). I spent $300 on this thing. It's the third chair since 2010 that I had bought for about $300 that has been utterly destroyed in just a couple years of honestly just 'light' use.

In 2020, once the office went work-from-home, I nicked my Herman Miller Mirra 2 from the office because it was a comfortable chair. I had been sitting in that chair for eight hours a day at the office and never had a problem. When I brought it home, I was in it for 12 hours a day at times and never had a problem.

I kept it. I've been using the Herman Miller since 2017 (when the company bought new furniture) as well in some capacity for at least eight hour a day. It looks brand new. Everything works. It's still very comfortable. It's worth the $1200 MSRP but you can find them off-lease at furniture resellers for half that.

These HM chairs are honestly worth every dollar.

DO NOT buy this Hykon chair It is god awful. Save your back. Save your money. Save yourself.

Gas pistons are generic parts that cost about $20, if for some reason you want to fix this piece of shit and it is out of warranty.
