I've used this chair for 8 hours daily for 9 years now. I added 1.5-2 inch thick memory foam under the seat. I have replaced the arm rests once (they'll need replacing again soon) as the material starts to split over time/use. Their 5-year warranty was fantastic - at the 5 year mark, called them up and they sent me the new arm rests and a new headrest without question. I will most likely purchase this same chair again when my current one needs replacing.

If you buy this and have solid surface floors, strongly recommend upgrading the cheap hard plastic wheels.

I went with a dual rollerblade style from amazon. I.e. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B9BJ1PGL

I hate thsi chair. I hate this chair. I HATE this chair. I hate this damn thing so much everytimeI see these sales listed for it I need to come tell my survivor story about it.

I bought one circa 2017 and used it for years. I'd sit in it for just a couple
of hours a night and would often end up with a sore back. I was miserable. The piston failed on it at one point and had to be replaced. The mes his that super scratchy "productivity mesh" that causes people to go insane (as seen in the documentary, Better Off Ted). I spent $300 on this thing. It's the third chair since 2010 that I had bought for about $300 that has been utterly destroyed in just a couple years of honestly just 'light' use.

In 2020, once the office went work-from-home, I nicked my Herman Miller Mirra 2 from the office because it was a comfortable chair. I had been sitting in that chair for eight hours a day at the office and never had a problem. When I brought it home, I was in it for 12 hours a day at times and never had a problem.

I kept it. I've been using the Herman Miller since 2017 (when the company bought new furniture) as well in some capacity for at least eight hour a day. It looks brand new. Everything works. It's still very comfortable. It's worth the $1200 MSRP but you can find them off-lease at furniture resellers for half that.

These HM chairs are honestly worth every dollar.

DO NOT buy this Hykon chair It is god awful. Save your back. Save your money. Save yourself.

Gas pistons are generic parts that cost about $20, if for some reason you want to fix this piece of shit and it is out of warranty.
SAME this chair ruined my life haha I ended up with a Herman miller as well

any good?
No, At 6'3" 220 the seat mesh started coming out of the plastic after 2 months and the neck/head rest was completely useless for me and I took it off. Luckily I bought the warrantee. Maybe better for a shorter and lighter person.

Can somebody please recommend a Home Office chair or website to buy that's comfortable to sit for 6+ hours?

I got this during a previous deal and heard praise from the community... I personally hate it and have been shopping for a new chair since. The mesh to the plastic under the hamstrings are so uncomfortable. 5'11 170 lb athletic male here and not a fan. Of course ymmv but just my two cents
Did you find any good home office chairs? Keep us informed if you find.

You should try yourself before you decide. Staples chairs are good because of this. This is a great chair, 95% as comfy as my $1500 Aaron chair, except this is smaller. If you want a larger one Staples Dexley is great for $120.

I've got both the Dexley and the Hyken. One had broken after 4 years so bought the other. I called the warranty and they replaced it. So now I have both.

Honestly both are fine. I sit at my desk and work from home for 8-10 hours.

No problems with either.

Oh, no way. didn't know they had a five year warranty. My armrests are mostly split apart. Bought mine in 2020. Guess I better get on that.

It's a good chair, but I don't think I've ever seen it for full price. I bought mine around this price point as well. I sat on Harman Kardon chairs at work and this isn't noticeably different (for like 1/100 of the price).
