Cheapest 9.2 AVR with Diracl Live and Pre-Outs. Just add a 5 Channel amp and get excellent results. There are some great used Parasound / Emotiva 5 channel amps out there for $200-$300.
Don't think so. It went down to 650 then back up to 1500 and now down to 580 so I think it's the lowest it will go. They are selling open box units for 770.

In for one. I was waiting for Onkyo 7100 deal. This one is basically the same as 7100, but with pre-out and 5-year warranty instead of Onkyo 2-year. The only "negative" is the dated front fascia look.
True. Integra does come with a 5 year parts and labor warranty, Onkyo is just 2 years parts and labor.
That 5 years is one additional benefit, last Onkyo had HDMI issues outside of the warranty.
Onkyo = ToyotaIntegra = LexusThis is how it's been described to me, at least - and it seems to hold.
It used to be that way for sure. I sold some VERY high-END "ONKYO-INTEGRA" audio equipment many years ago.
There's been some changes (below), but so far INTEGRA seems to have been making good products.
"The name "Integra" refers to integration and fusion. Introduced by Onkyo in 1969 as a brand name under which it could market its more premium products, Integra Research became its own division in 2000."

If anything moving the LCR channels on external amp greatly reduces load on the internal amps and overall improves the sound quality.
On the other hand if you have sensitive speakers like Klipsch, you may not need an amp. I personally would not go back.
I had the exact same model and it's a great deal at this price, Dirac alone is nice to have.
