Discover - Enable Virtual Card Number and Spend $125 using Google Pay/Wallet - Recieve $25 Cashback Bonus. YMMV
I received a flyer in the mail today saying if i add my Discover Card to google wallet and then use the virtual card feature to spend $125 or more, I will get a $25 bonus.
My amex BCE card in Google Wallet already uses this, and it is a very nice feature.
use the link below to add your card. One step they fail to mention is that you need to enable the virtual card AFTER you add it. It was not showing up for me when i tried it .
I tried it and was able to add the virtual card to amazon. What makes this even better is that the current 5% category is Amazon this month, so the 5% *should* stack on top of the $25 bonus.
This is YMMV as you need to be targeted , I believe. So you might want to call first to verify you are eligible.

But now on Amazon, at checkout using Chrome, I see my real Discover CC number and no option to use Virtual. This is so confusing and unintuitive!
EDIT: I'm trying to use the Amazon Android app instead of Chrome on Desktop, still cannot figure out how to use the Virtual number. No such option shows up, only real Discover number. Ugh.
EDIT 2: OK adding the Discover Virtual Card as a payment on Amazon absolutely does not work in Chrome on MacOS, nor the Amazon Android App. But I finally made it work in Chrome for Windows! They should've said in the offer that this only works in Windows, ugh. Now that my virtual card is added to Amzn payments I can do my shopping from any platform.
