The original 2021 ONN box that can't be found anywhere anymore could run lineage, but to my knowledge none of the models since.

I'm not entirely sure what USB adapter chipsets are supported (or if it even matters) but I plugged in a random no-name WEme branded gigabit adapter I bought for $8 in 2017 and it worked immediately. Looking back at my purchase history, it looks like that same device [amazon.com] is now $12 but includes a built-in USB 3.0 hub, so it'd basically kill two birds with one stone.
