Vertuo has several different pod sizes, and makes both espresso and larger drip style coffees. You can only buy Nespresso made pods as it's under patent. But they do have double espresso pods, which can be cost effective if you want 2 shots. But the espresso isn't as good and the machine reliability is generally not as good.

But they do have double espresso pods, which can be cost effective if you want 2 shots. But the espresso isn't as good and the machine reliability is generally not as good.
Generally you should never store coffee in the refrigerator.
I almost bought the Nespresso Vertuo machine, but I'm glad I missed the deal. With that machine, you are locked into the more expensive pods and have less variety. My sister bought the Nespresso Vertuo machine but hardly uses it anymore. She complains about the cost of the Vertuo pods.
There are other machines that use Nespresso Original pods but don't have any experience with them.
