good price but sometimes i wonder if i really need it? I already own a multi tool and a sawzall. For those of you that have it . is it a good buy ?

It's what most installers that have to quickly hang a ton of drywall use. But those are also the types electricians hate because they mud all over boxes.

For a DIYer, the oscillating multitool makes more sense. There's even a box cutout blade that works pretty cleanly.

You can use it to cut plywood and mdf as well. For relatively more complicated shapes, obviously.

If you're hanging new sheets in new construction or remodels, absolutely. Watch the video posted.

If you're making new holes in old work, your oscillating tool, or a saw or knife, is probably a better option.
