I wouldn't be surprised if Liberty Mutual did this on purpose to make people notice the commercial. Similar to cable providers increasing the volume when commercials come on. Insert a high pitched or cackling noise to get your attention.
Your comparison here isn't even remotely fair. The S90 listed for $1,199 was in a single store in New York that isn't carrying them any longer—it's disingenuous to throw this out there when 99.5% of people had no chance of buying one.

There will obviously be rare occurrences where a TV on a random shelf at some store in the country is sold for less, but it doesn't support your argument unless it's available to everyone.
If you're using an appleTV, Settings > Video and Audio > Audio Format > Change Format > turn on Dolby Digital 5.1

Found that on Reddit and it stopped the high pitch sounds. Still no clue on the cause.

Even if true, $50 seems like a pittance to assure oneself of, you know, actually GETTING the TV in question...lol. This deal is gonna get a lot of takers. I am assuming the whole thing is an effort to drum up BB Plus enrollees in the hopes that they will forget to cancel in 12 months when the second year's $49 charge hits. If it's a simple matter of waiting a day to get the same price that the paying members get (be they $50/yr or $180/yr memberships) then... it would be pretty nonsensical of BB.
Not to mention, GETTING the TV before Christmas! We snagged a Monday delivery!

LOL I've been shopping at BB since 2004 and honestly the $180 useless membership is insulting. No loyalty at all.

I was on fence about buying the C4, but this was too good of a deal to pass up. Bought one. Will move my 85" Sammy QN90B into my living room. Looking forward to this.

I bought this tv during the cyber Monday sale at $1499. It is a great looking tv, but I have one complaint. During certain tv commercials (liberty mutual is one of them), there will be a high pitched sound for about 5 seconds from the tv speakers. It never fails for these commercials. I have yet to find a resolution to this problem.
Probably the AI sounds feature causing it. Try turn off that feature, but the sound volume will be lower noticeably

No way I'm paying for a warranty. That's easy money for retailers.
My Chase credit card adds one year of warranty protection when I pay with it. Suggest you use such a card for purchases these.

Is it really going to bring consumer electronics prices up? I thought he wanted inflation down?
do you believe everything a politician says? lol

the fact of the matter is that tariffs increase the cost of goods. we'll see whether the retailer consumes that cost or passes it onto the buyer but what do you think is likely to happen if their bottom line is to increase profitability?

I agree totally with you. I will add that those posts listed about one item found somewhere where 99.5% of people has no chance of buying one shouldn't be posted it's a waist of time and disservice to the bast mayority of us

I got this TV during CM. Can anyone suggest good settings for the C3? Currently I have setup in Filmmaker mode. But there are multiple settings options available in YT. It's confusing. I just want to have the best viewing experience using OLED. If possible.
Got it then too and am still tinkering with settings. Use rtings.com as a starting point. Note that you need settings for sdr, hdr and dolby vision.

Make sure eco mode is shut off which kills brightness. The biggest change for me was lowering color temperature from Warm 50 closer to Warm 20-30. 50 was just too yellow for my taste, especially when watching sports in sdr. Motion settings I have real cinema on and trumotion custom (judder 5, blur 0).

I was initially frustrated with the brightness when I first bought it and was upset I went oled. Then I realized most modern movies are just so dull color/brightness wise. I put on Furiosa and Pacific Rim and the colors/brightness are great.

I don't need any TVs I have 3 OLEDs, and if I wanted one I'd pay more. I don't care. I want onshore retooling more than a stupid TV.

I don't get this Burn in issue I have 4 LG OLED TVs c1 series and up so I can't comment on the early models which were more susceptible to burn in . But I believe you have to be an idiot to get burn on a newer model today. Maybe have your brightness up to 100% and turn off all the safety features. If you leave your Tv on 24/7 and watch nothing but CNN I could see maybe a warranty. A 300.00 warranty on a 1499.99 tv is crazy. My original 55inch C1 has 20000 hours and a lot gaming and YouTube and movies and sports. It looks just as good as my 55inch c3 and tbh I can't tell any difference between the 2 considering the C3 can get brighter. I also have a 42 c3 on a computer and just bought the 77 inch 1499.99 deal and I'm just waiting to mount it this weekend.
Yep. Have a 77 c1 and run it at 100% brightness even at night. Has over 6000 hours so far and going strong

This deal, or the C4 at Greentoe? The Greentoe NOW price is locked in at $1899 (no tax) for the next 73 hours. So with 8.25% tax, the BB C3 is $276 cheaper. Worth it for the older model??
