I wouldn't be surprised if Liberty Mutual did this on purpose to make people notice the commercial. Similar to cable providers increasing the volume when commercials come on. Insert a high pitched or cackling noise to get your attention.

Your comparison here isn't even remotely fair. The S90 listed for $1,199 was in a single store in New York that isn't carrying them any longer—it's disingenuous to throw this out there when 99.5% of people had no chance of buying one.

There will obviously be rare occurrences where a TV on a random shelf at some store in the country is sold for less, but it doesn't support your argument unless it's available to everyone.

If you're using an appleTV, Settings > Video and Audio > Audio Format > Change Format > turn on Dolby Digital 5.1

Found that on Reddit and it stopped the high pitch sounds. Still no clue on the cause.

Bought this on Cyber Monday for the same price and frankly I'm not impressed, and that is coming from series 4 TCL. Simply not worth the $1600 price tag imho. It is going back
If you don't like this tv and feel the tcl 4 series is better, then I have nothing more to say .. lolWink

Yea this is definitely a HOT take… and comparing this to a budget TV is not in any way useful to potential buyers. This is a super deal on a fantastic OLED coming from someone who has owned a LG CX, C1, G4 - and considering getting this C3 for my mancave to replace the CX… I have a lot of experience with TVs and particularly OLEDs, and this is a great deal.

Pro tip: check open box deals - there's one in "good" condition at a BestBuy warehouse for pickup at $1199. I may try my hand at that as that's a killer price for a 77" C3 if it's virtually new. 🤞🏼

Also - the TotalTech membership is no longer required for this deal

Gid, I wish the Samsung S90 77 would go for $1500. Even $1600 price would be a buy price point.

We're all ears if you know of a deal on a 2024 model 77" OLED that outperforms this, for $1500. . .

And an OLED is the one TV I would prefer to buy from BB with their burn in warranty.

And that warranty is @ $299 unless the price of the TV is above $1500, then it bumps to $449 and higher past $2k purchase.

So 5 year cost is $1800, unless it craps out earlier, in which case I get $1500 towards a new one
FWIW... the cutoff for the BB $299.99 (5 yr wty) is $1599.99... not $1499.99/$1500. When the 77" B4 was $1599.99 over BF, the BB 5 yr wty was $299.99, and any currently priced $1599.99 TV @ BB shows $299.99 for the 5 yr wty.

Nobody said tcl is better. Read what I actually wrote. TCL was mentionedl to underline that even coming from such an entry level TV I was not impressed with this OLED

That said, I did not mean to trash on the deal, I bought it myself for the same price, but just offering a perspective of someone who actually owns this TV
definitely trashing the deal if you're not explaining anything.

I've had my c2 since it came out and it's been on for like 6+ hours a day and no issues at all.

I think it depends a lot on content watched. That same talk about "burn-in isn't an issue" was going around in 2021, so I purchased a C1 (Costco) over BF. Since burn-in was suppose to be a non-issue, we didn't baby the TV (the family watched any/all content on the OLED), and it developed burn-in in a year and a half. And yes, we had the TV set-up to avoid burn-in (screen saver, pixel shifting, etc.). Luckily it was during year two (covered by Costco concierge) of the warranty and Costco refunded the full amount. Even with the newer tech advances since then, I'm very skeptical about purchasing another OLED.

Hello All! Thinking of pulling the trigger on but wondering if it's worth it to go with the C4 (2024 model) for $600 more, or not to bother?

I personally do not think it's worth it. I could see a big difference between the B4 and C3 77" (C3 better) but the C4 was minimal and not worth the difference. Only reason would be if you need 144hz for gaming, although the C4 struggles with gaming mode brightness versus the C3.

No gaming for me. I figured it was not worth it, thanks for the reply.

Finally found it at the price I wanted! Had $100 GC and cash back offer so came out below $1500 total with tax and free delivery. While I hate BB in general, I've never had to return a TV yet, so here's hoping I didn't jinx myself.
