I wouldn't be surprised if Liberty Mutual did this on purpose to make people notice the commercial. Similar to cable providers increasing the volume when commercials come on. Insert a high pitched or cackling noise to get your attention.

Your comparison here isn't even remotely fair. The S90 listed for $1,199 was in a single store in New York that isn't carrying them any longer—it's disingenuous to throw this out there when 99.5% of people had no chance of buying one.

There will obviously be rare occurrences where a TV on a random shelf at some store in the country is sold for less, but it doesn't support your argument unless it's available to everyone.

If you're using an appleTV, Settings > Video and Audio > Audio Format > Change Format > turn on Dolby Digital 5.1

Found that on Reddit and it stopped the high pitch sounds. Still no clue on the cause.

U can wait another 3+ years to add a streamer if TV becomes slow. Not worth to add any streamer now. To use 3 to 5 Apps, no one needs a streamer unless an Apple TV is connected via Neural interface.
The Apple TV interface, features, and quality far exceed anything built into a TV and there are NO ADS. 100% worth it.

No need for a streamer. The interface on this TV is great. Very snappy and just needs the settings tweaked to remove ads and tracking.

I got this TV during CM. Can anyone suggest good settings for the C3? Currently I have setup in Filmmaker mode. But there are multiple settings options available in YT. It's confusing. I just want to have the best viewing experience using OLED. If possible.
Bought this TV for 1500 during Cyber Monday and coming from a 55 inch Samsung QLED this TV is insane. A friend of mine bought one as well because, for the price, this has to be the best TV deal in a good while. Played Ghosts of Tsushima on my PS5 recently and it was an insane cinematic experience. 4K Dolby Vision Netflix and Prime Video shows look incredible. Watched Dune 2 on it and I was blown away.

As far as settings, I've been using these I found on Reddit and while they can be confusing at first, they did make the the picture look a lot better than it was out of the box:

Am I missing something? I got this last week to upgrade from a 65 C3 and neither of the TVs have ads.

I will say the quality and snappiness of ATV is better, but tying up an HDMI port and having to use two remotes got tiring.

I'm also in the same boat as a few others in this thread - where I bought the 77 s90d and am still waiting for it to arrive (not until February!). So I'm torn. After CB, the s90d was identical in price to this one. I know it gets a little bit brighter + better colors, but I'm worried about Samsung quality issues. For what its worth - lots of stock at the best buy in Poughkeepsie, was just there

Bummer, just bought the B4 a couple weeks ago with the LG.com deals, paid under $1400. Probably would have gotten this instead, but at least RTings has them rated pretty close to each other.

Comparative Roku or ONN r cleaner & super cheaper & faster.
This is not 2005 & other OSssss are no different. is Apple TV faster like .0000000000011 milliseconds?

webOS does have ads but they can be turned off.

I've tried most of the built in TV OS's and this is one of the best (I think only Android/Google TV from the Sony TVs is better, even beats built-in Roku from my past TCL TVs, with Tizen by far being the worst). It's relatively quick and has a good selection of apps. Sometimes the built-in apps work better when it comes to HDR/Dolby and any 4k+ content.

I think it depends a lot on content watched. That same talk about "burn-in isn't an issue" was going around in 2021, so I purchased a C1 (Costco) over BF. Since burn-in was suppose to be a non-issue, we didn't baby the TV (the family watched any/all content on the OLED), and it developed burn-in in a year and a half. And yes, we had the TV set-up to avoid burn-in (screen saver, pixel shifting, etc.). Luckily it was during year two (covered by Costco concierge) of the warranty and Costco refunded the full amount. Even with the newer tech advances since then, I'm very skeptical about purchasing another OLED.
What exactly burned in? You watched a lot of the same channel (in bright mode) and a logo had image retention or something?

Tough to say exactly. TV was in the family room so it got a lot of use (12+ hrs a day) watching all content. Since it was the bottom 3-4 inches of the screen that were a mish mash cluster... my thoughts are that it was mostly a combination of watching sports, news, and use as computer monitor.

Great deal, wish there was the 65" version of this for an equivalently low price.
