So they wait until 90 days to see if you can hit 8k and if you don't they give you lower tier ? As soon as you hit 8k before 90 days is when they pay you? Then you can close right after ?

Their savings counts, it's not 4.5 tho
They may have "escheated" the money which means if an account is inactive they will turn the money over to the state. Suggest googling - unclaimed funds and state you live in and then enter your data to see if that or other funds are there.

I had to follow the specific link and when I was signing up it had that "450 promo" officially listed as added to my account (don't remember where exactly but I didn't have to search hard for it). If you don't see it, I suggest you restart the application with the correct link or something otherwise you'll probably not gonna get it.
