I purchased 2 when they were $99, and although locked for 1 year they've been working flawlessly for several months now on Tello using MKSD Ultra V5.6

For those having trouble porting in from TracFone, Straight Talk, or Total Wireless, here are the steps you need to take at the porting part. This is based on my experience. I have successfully completed port-ins from these sites after working out this guide. The guide below is taken from Total Wireless port into Metro. It should be the same for Straight Talk and other TracFone subsidiaries including TracFone.

Port Info Needed:
Most can be found here
https://www.totalwireless.com .. my-account.. manage-lines
Line: Phone number
Account: Phone IMEI (Text Four to 611611 to confirm)
Zip code: Your zip code
PIN: Text NTP to 611611 to generate your PIN.

----------------------
At the Porting part.
1. Enter the port info.
2. Metro contacts Total Wireless. (See picture 1)
3. Metro throws an error even if you entered everything correctly. (See picture 2)
4. The error is because Total Wireless is contacting the line owner to warn them about the port. (See picture 3)
5. Click on Correct errors.
6. Re-enter everything again and make sure everything is correct.
7. Metro throws another error. The same one as seen in Picture 2.
8. This is a bug on Metro site.
9. Click on the X at the top right to close that error message.
10. Metro proceeds to completing the order.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Once you clicked on submitting the order to Metro, your Total/ST/Tracfone line is immediately inactivated on their respective site, not allowing you to port that line any further even if Metro denied your order asking you to contact them or go to their store for completing the order. In order words, you cannot reverse the porting at Total/ST/Tracfone. I spent 2 hours with Total and it was going nowhere.

Was able to order the 5th ip13 (probably the final) today, hopefully will receive it next week.
The first 3 I was able to have them shipped to my place, using my information & credit card.
The 4th one I had to use my friend's info, his address and cc for payment and shipping.
The final one I used my sister's info, her address and cc.
  • 5 iphone 13: $129+ $89 x 4 = $485
  • 5 visible esims for port-in: $5*5=25
  • Trade in for gift card at Apple store: 5 * 235 = $1,175
So I paid ~$510 to get $1,175 Apple gift card. That's 56.6% off, lol.

Any suggestions for other carriers to quickly and inexpensively port into Metro besides Visible? Visible isn't letting me sign up for a 2nd line via eSIM. Keeps giving me an "internal server error" when trying to buy a second line.
Are you using the same IMEI when you ordered the second eSIM? I heard someone has the same issue because he just ordered 2nd eSIM after he ported out the first line. Visible might has record in the system so they blocked you.

Yes I'm using the same IMEI. In order to complete the order, I have to provide an IMEI and this one is the only one I have that supports eSIM. The app also sometimes reads the IMEI directly from the phone it's installed on. Are you saying there's some alternative, like entering a random IMEI of a device that supports eSIM (like an iPhone from ebay listing)?

I attempted to port my Straight Talk number but received an error message. Now, the number appears inactive in my Straight Talk account, and Metro won't let me proceed with the order, instead directing me to visit a store. What should I do? I assume the porting process is underway, but my order hasn't gone through yet.

When you add a new line, does each line have its own 30-day billing cycle or each new line extend the first line?

Anyone know how I can get MKSD to work on these? I select 5G Auto from the menu and then T-Mobile but then it says I need to activate the device and then it goes through the process and completes but then makes me activate the device again, over and over again.

select 5G Auto from the menu and then metro, it may only works with tmobile or its mvnos, so tello should be fine. xfinity might not works.

you can use online chat to get a live agent to help you process the port in with correct discount

Have to port VZ or ATT based number for phone discount -- can't be TMo or VoIP (GV/NB)

You can get a number from Visible for $5
