Beware, the hinges are very prone to breaking under normal use. Sony will not warrant them if they do break. They are made from recycled plastic that isnt working out. Wait for the upcoming XM6's coming out or opt for the XM4

Dont take my word for it, check out Reddit and see the daily reports from xm5 users who have their hinges break for no reason. I simply want every prospective buyer to have the option to investigate the pros and cons of a possible purchase. Nobody wants to lay down good money to find out later they had no idea of a known issue without recourse.

Have these, love these. They support a ton of codecs as well. Lots of mics, people hear you perfectly gaming, phone, etc. ANC is good. I beat mine up pretty good and they are fine. They have made it through 15 international flights as well. This price is very good. If you have an adroid phone remember to change your codec on the phone to LDAC for far better sound than the default codec. Apple only supports the default fyi.

I've had these for about 2 years now, great headphones. Haven't had any problems. Wear them almost every day. Perfect for cancelling airplane noise

I've had mine for years use them daily, multiple international trips, falling off my head on the plane while sleeping, have accidentally sat on them, the hinges seem fine to me. No issues whatsoever.

I doubt it. If ur careful handling it, taking off head with 2 hand, it is not easily broken.

Get these or even better get the cheaper refurbs usually $199. Have the refurbs a little over a year now and they are perfect. Sound is great and the noise cancellation is insane.
