It takes some configuring, but I've had good experiences with using Google Family to manage my kids devices.
1. Go to the web to find the current minutes, messages, data, and days remaining on your permanent phone.
2. Activate your "donor" phone on the same account.
3. Go to the web to find the current minutes, messages, data, and days remaining on your new, donor phone.
4. Go to support.tracfone.com and scroll down to and click "Chat with Support".

S25 deal live on Spectrum
This phone nets you 710 dollar worth trade in
But, we cannot trade-in this phone immediately right? As it has to be unlocked first which can only be done after 60 days and by that time the value of trade in can go down. Any work around?
This deal on slickdeals says it for 2 on QVC and wm has for 1
TF UNL Talk & Text, 24GB Data, 365 Day, Smartphone
Service period ends:
10/12/2026
Thank you! This is what I see on the spectrum site for trade-in

I wonder if they actually require an unlocked device for trade-in or if that just pertains to number porting lock.

The other part - if you activate this by transferring your existing number on Tracfone itself - it extends validity. Not clear if your plan that's expiring in June is on a different provider.
