It takes some configuring, but I've had good experiences with using Google Family to manage my kids devices.
1. Go to the web to find the current minutes, messages, data, and days remaining on your permanent phone.
2. Activate your "donor" phone on the same account.
3. Go to the web to find the current minutes, messages, data, and days remaining on your new, donor phone.
4. Go to support.tracfone.com and scroll down to and click "Chat with Support".
5. Populate the message template below with details of your donor phone and permanent phone and share with the CSR.

This morning, I inserted a SIM from a different carrier and the phone rejected it. The TF web portal declined to unlock (but I'm suspecting it's going by the unlock date, tomorrow, for the 2nd harvested phone). So I connected this phone (without cell service) to WIFI and left it alone.
I saw SPARKLER's post this evening and re-checked the phone. The dial code in his / her post is incorrect but a great lead. Dial #83865625# (625 not 685) and the phone immediately takes you to a grey screen telling you the lock status. For my 1st harvest phone, it states "Device is SIM UNLOCKED". So during the day, connected to WIFI, the phone automatically unlocked and now I can use other carrier SIMs. NOTE: This phone was not debloated and left on Android 12.
My 2nd harvested phone is scheduled to be unlocked tomorrow. This phone is debloated and running a VPN (tracfone blocks VPNs from their servers), but I think the phone should unlock fine since the lock status should come from Moto servers as long as I didn't accidently uninstall the Moto unlock app. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.
Takeaway? Uninstalling Tracfone apps is okay. VPN may or may not affect unlocking. If it doesn't auto unlock day 61 but the portal says it's unlockable, just wait a couple days then check again.
It seems like gift cards work currently, but as with all things Tracfone, it may not work 61 days from now. For example, I never received my gift cards from Nov when the gift cards program first rolled out, and Tracfone refuses to refund my reward points.
1) Activate Moto #1 with new number on Tracfone.
2) Text UNLOCK to 611611 (sometimes twice) and it will give you a date the phone is eligible to be unlocked. (This is not a requirement, you can skip this step.)
3) Wait a day or two (or 60 days until it unlocks, but not really necessary to wait this long), activate Moto #2 by keeping your number as shown in the DIY [reddit.com] Guide. Moto #2 should have 3,000 TTD with 2 years of service. You don't need to contact support for this.
4) Both phones should be eligible for unlock 60 days after activation. (Moto #2 may report the same unlock date as #1 because of the service transfer, but the actual date is still 60 days after its activation).
I currently have Moto #1 with 6000+ points that will vest in a little under 2 months. I have not yet activated Moto #2.
How do I activate Moto #2 to get the other 5000 referral points, before merging Moto #2 with #1?
Do I create a new account w/ different e-mail for Moto #2, wait 61 days, then e-mail customer service to merge the 2 different accounts?

Edit to add that I was able to figure it out and reinstalled the app after looking at the debloat list I grabbed from XDA Forums. My debloat list is currently customized to my own needs.

When you pm uninstall --user 0, you are removing the app from your user 0. The app still exist on your phone. So to reinstall it, you can either cmd package install-existing <package_name> [stackexchange.com] or use Universal Android Debloater to reenable the app. Factory reset is only needed if you really messed up or don't know which app you want to reenable.
