Hopefully, that post gets you closer to what you expect! It's not a clean fix like the next tier up AVRs but at least it has been seen and addressed by others!
Sounds like you didnt set your speaker configuration BEFORE you ran Dirac
On some brands this will give you an immediate error message though I dont know if that is the way the Integra/Onkyo units perform and if it will let you go forward
I knew this part from the Arcam set up and just did it out of habit when I set up my RZ50
Dirac is not as initiative as the Asian room correction systems
But after you do it once its not that bad and the good news, IMO, is that it doesnt need to be tweaked constantly like I personally had to do with Audyssey
Fortunately, I bought my first Dirac equipped unit from an independent dealer who stepped me through the process
As for this display you mention you have to buy higher up in the model line for that feature.

I have the Integra sitting in my family room unopened. I'm really on the fence between these two AVRs. I got it locally for this incredible price on a price match so easy to return. For me it's kind of a PITA to hook up and unhook so I like to guess right on the first try.
Other than the extra 2 year's warranty on the Integra (5 years vs 3 years) there are some things I like better on the Onkyo but I'm not sure if it warrants the $220 price difference ($799 for the RZ50):
THX loudness plus which might be really beneficial while listening late at night.
Bit of extra power / headroom of 20 wpc.
11.2 channel processing with an external amp.
Larger chasis for better airflow ( I have an AC Infinity fan anyhow, which helped with my now sold Denon AVRX4500H, which ran very hot).
Overall look and feel of the Onkyo.
OTOH, Integra perhaps uses better internal components as it's Onkyo's flagship brand but who knows??

I personally would get the RZ50 but everyone's needs are different so you have to ask yourself:
- how likely will you get external amps for 11 channels?
- do I want to be able to purchase and run Dirac Live Bass Control (DLBC) down the road? This is not an option on the DRX 3.4.
Note that if you have low impedance speakers and/or want full Dirac capability, the only PAC AVRs I would recommend would be the Onkyo RZ70, Pioneer 805, or Integra DRX 8.4 (and not the DRX 3.4 or RZ50)!

I paid $550 for the RZ50 at a Best Buy outlet store about a year ago as a whim purchase
I am using it for a 5.1 system running bookshelves and a single sub in a smaller/midsize room
For the price..the performance is phenomenal
I really doubt there is much if any difference in the internal components of the Onkyo and Integra units...similar to the Denon versus Marantz units
The 5 year warranty is nice though
THX loudness plus cannot be used with Dirac engaged
For me the Onkyo is a bit more future proof than the Integra although I'm unlikely to run an 11.2 system in the future. I currently have a 5.1.2 set up with easy to drive bookshelf speakers.
I'd probably never add on bass control, etc. Just sticking with a single sub for the foreseeable future.
Speaking from experience,and sound quality wise, I know the best thing would be to buy the Integra and add a good quality 5 channel external amplifier with the $220 saved. I used to have a 5 channel Rotel amp and that thing was an absolute beast. I rarely listen very loud anymore however and something of that nature ( like an Emotiva) would be way overkill.
I'd like to stay married if possible lol.
Maybe that larger power supply on the RZ 50 is enough to circumvent having to add an external amp later on ( other than a 2 channel to power it as an 11.2 system).
The extra 2 year Integra warranty is very nice to have however given the problems with HDMI boards, etc.

Both implemented properly, you likely wouldn't hear much difference.
I like the external amp route(IF you even need it). Paying for larger power supply every time you upgrade is counterproductive imo.
External amps are almost always way better than internal ones also, you only pay once.
Keep in mind neither offers Dirac's subwoofer correction/integration, that is all within their DLBC RC.
Most people believe it's no benefit so not sure how much value it is anyways.
Whichever you choose I would highly recommend following this calibration process, it's probably one of the best imo.
They worked directly with Dirac and do a great job covering common confusions,misinformation & tips and tricks.
