It's a thing. Any thoughts?
Direct showing more info on 4/2 9AM EST.
A patent leak the other day showed that indeed the joycons can be used as mice this time.
I will be getting one -- unlike a Switch. Hooray betting on backwards compatibility for the new system while playing through the backlog. And I can finally return the Switch I borrowed from a friend to play TOTK.

As for Switch 2, yeah I'll get it at launch, my kids love mario party, mario kart, all that shit. I just hope the docks are the same and current switch controllers are compatible.
The sync button is required to activate the Switch 1 joycons on Switch 2. 4 Out of my 6 joycons have dead slide bars and will not work with Switch 2 unless I fix them. Replacement parts are $5 and it requires a specialized screwdriver. The defect is a ribbon cable that gets flexed over time and eventually loses contact at the bend. Joycons were a disaster of a design for long term viability. I hope they learned something for Switch 2.
