i saw that, seems like you just send them your ID and its done?
Photo and DL photo, info is retained for some time, and may prevent you from ordering from TW in the future.
And, how would TW be expected to give an end date with "while supplies last"?

Why are ppl so lost and confused by this ? 'device credit over 12 mths' of savings, you pay this $300 upfront, and the other $300 is paid/credited to you by ST over the remaining/required 12mths of service ..aka $25 a mth. You guys really think a mvno will give you a newly released device for 50% off with just 1 mth of service ? Lol ...

I'm in the same boat. Ready to upgrade from my 13 - but if for some reason it doesn't unlock at 60 days, it was a waste of money.

Exactly what I'm afraid of

Where's the sales tax on the phone?

Thinking that ST is just going to let one go with a brand new phone and getting away with just paying 1 month and skipping out the rest of the 11 months….i mean if one has the money to give it a try by all means go for it but as good as this sounds Im not risking it

I read the terms, just as you stated. Where would they get the other $300 [or any amount] from me if I don't keep paying them?

I read the terms, seems straight forward. Maybe you can show where I have to pay for another 11 months.

In this calculation, the $300 is a bill credit. Which means, one needs to stay with Straight Talk even further than 12 months!! That's a bummer.

To exhaust the $300, you are forced to stay on the expensive platinum plan for another 5 months!!

Given all this, this is a lackluster deal.
Wut? $25 off x 12 is $300. What's 5 months got to do with it?

I bet ST can't be that stupid to know what people are up to in regards to being flooded with orders….all they have to do is keep the phone locked till the other 11 months of payment is paid for

I don't think they are going to give you the $300 credit now or even within the 12 months. As per their statement, the $300 credit comes when you complete the 12 months.

In other words, you will be able to use the $300 credit only after 12 months of service. And to use this credit, you essentially need to stay more months.

Nowhere I read that the $300 credit comes in earlier than 12 months. Someone correct me if I am wrong or missed the logic!

Unpossible. Terms of the acquisition of Tracfone brands are clear. Required unlock after 60 days. Been done by SD users on thousands of phones.

They're split into monthly credits, so yes, you'd need to stay with the plan for the full 12 months to get the entire $300.

Be aware ST policy is once it leaves the shipping dock, it's your issue if it gets lost or stolen. In my case is was a clear case of UPS processing plant personal took my package and UPS says call ST and ST who doesn't speak a lot of English said call UPS. I declined the charge on my CC, but of course that would be to easy and yes my phone was sent 3 day with tracking and the whole works and it didn't matter. You have been warned......
