It used to be that the 2nd item had to be equal to or greater than the value of the dq but they changed it to where you add up the 1st and 2nd items and divide by 2. Each item has to be equal to or greater than that value in order for the dq's to work. This was a nice change in our favor.

Here's a simple example

Old Way with bogo50% off sale
$4 - $3 dq (works) + $2 -$3 dq (doesn't work)

New Way
$4 + $2 = $6/2 = $3 so both $3 dq's will work

If you have some EB you need to use, Monistat Wipes are $5.99 and you get $5 EB. If there are no wipes, they have a cleanser that is $7.79 that also gives the $5 EB. These are not included in the $10/$25 though.

It's a Unilever coupon so it won't work until Sunday. Unilever has been like this for many years. Since there's no start date on the coupon and we're supposed to follow the wording on the coupon, this has always pissed me off. The other thing is that the coupons actually come out in the Saturday edition of the Sunday paper so they should be good on Saturday.

If you want a real shock, compare the price of the 18 oz Aveeno body lotion at Target and Walmart to CVS's price. It's $15.49 at CVS and $9.99 at Target and $9.97 at Walmart. Target has a 10/40 deal this week. So much for Epic Beauty. Epic Rip Off is more like it.

I actually use that Aveeno and discovered this price difference. A couple of weeks ago, Target had $3 DQ for Aveeno plus one of their gift card deals. I stocked up.

I scanned the bogo Axe mq with my coupon scanner and it shows "none" for start date, but it came up "no item sold" at cvs. I tried Axe spray, stick and body wash.

Unlike some of you, I thought this was a fantastic sale over two weeks.

Week one, over 4 accounts, my total was $1.32 MM including tax with I botta and C51 cashback.

Week two, over 4 accounts, my total was $2.86 including tax.

I got all the EBs back that I used plus $1 more.

There were plenty of digital coupon matchups from Neutrogena, Aveeno, CoverGirl, Garnier that stacked with the $10/$25 that I was able to buy products with no coupons - but EB's and cashback.

You're never going to get a $15.49 Aveeno lotion with a $5 digital coupon for pennies at Target as I did at CVS. Period.

It'll work on Sunday. Don't stress over it. It's been like this for a long time. If you're going to try to stack the bogo with the $5/2 dq on the bogo50% sale for the bodywash, please let me know how it works out for you. I'm not sure what's going to happen. I have some ideas but they're probably all wrong.
