PSA: Be careful if you're scheduled to pickup on Friday. The activation timer may starts on Friday but the CS aren't availble on weekends, which means you only have whatever hours left on Friday to attempt cancelling the line.

Nothing to add about this deal, but I got this phone a couple months ago and I have to say it's the best phone I've ever used. My wife got a Iphone 16 pro max and the camera on the Pixel 9 pro XL puts it to shame - especially when zoomed in. And the battery is usually around 40% when I go to bed at night after heavy use all day.

So if you're on the fence about this phone, don't be - you'll love it!

Damn!
Anyone know if this will stop any existing bill credits on AT&T if I buy this?
All my lines have installment plans with bill credits on them.
During the order BB will determine you are upgrade eligible

Order placed online for pick up and used AT&T as it seems they do a soft credit check. Used Google voice number to port (had to pay $3 to google to unlock the number to port out). Also trading in a Pixel 7. With taxes, it all came out to $118 for the phone.

Waiting on the phone to be ready for pick up, but my question is, can I call AT&T right after the pick up and cancel the line and waive the activation fee?
Yes, you can. They might/will send you a bill later on for which you have to chat to waive the charges.

Thank you. I will still need a phone number to trade in right? I have a Google Voice #.
Nope, not for doing this in store. You can just get a new number in store.

Do you know any cheap service to port out or you're an existing ATT customer?

The wiki has details about AT&T, but not about VZW. Is canceling VZW much harder? I picked a new number and I am not sure I will know the new number or account number when the phone gets here. I guess I will need this information to be able to cancel without opening the box.

A little concerned by the verbiage in the Verizon agreement. "Canceling service may also impact promotions associated with that line(s). Going for it anyway, but maybe I'm about to hate you guys.
Cancellation
You can cancel a line of Service within 30 days of accepting this Agreement as long as you return, within the applicable return period, any equipment you purchased from us or one of our authorized retailers in connection with your acceptance of this Agreement, but you'll still have to pay for your Service through that date. If you financed your device with Verizon and cancel your Service(s) after 30 days, your outstanding balance may immediately become due. Canceling service may also impact promotions associated with that line(s). You may manage your Service at any time at verizon.com. If you signed up for Prepaid Service, no refunds will be granted after 30 days or if your account has been activated. See verizon.com/support/return-policy for complete details and information on returning your equipment.

You did that in store right? Does Best Buy make you open the box during activation? I just want to sell mine if possible as new/sealed.
