PSA: Be careful if you're scheduled to pickup on Friday. The activation timer may starts on Friday but the CS aren't availble on weekends, which means you only have whatever hours left on Friday to attempt cancelling the line.

Nothing to add about this deal, but I got this phone a couple months ago and I have to say it's the best phone I've ever used. My wife got a Iphone 16 pro max and the camera on the Pixel 9 pro XL puts it to shame - especially when zoomed in. And the battery is usually around 40% when I go to bed at night after heavy use all day.

So if you're on the fence about this phone, don't be - you'll love it!

I thought about not activating it but just want to be safe because of the deal says "we'll help you to connect this phone to a carrier" so I don't want any surprises down the road with the bills or blacklisting my phone.
The phone is already activated with Verizon so the phone's IMEI numbers already registered with Verizon. I just activated then disconnected same day, today to get a piece of mind!

If they can't find your line, you can try to put the SIM and note the number and chat again?

Thanks for your imput. I am suspecting that porting out would result in the first month bill sent in full and was looking for someone who has actual experience with Verizon / can refer to the terms regarding this for confirmation.

I switched to VZ after unfreezing and still couldn't get ATT to do a credit check. I think once per day or something. VZ worked first try after unfreezing and giving up ATT after several tries.
