I was not able to get them to price match from the $599 deal earlier this week. They say because there was the additional $200 of trade in promo for the iPhone 13, they wouldn't be able to apply that on the price adjustment on top of the $200 discount. How did you do it?
Looking for same thing!

Anyone cancelled with Verizon?
I just did. Picked up the phone from Bestbuy in the evening. Insterted the sim into a different phone and it automatically activated once connected to wifi. Once i got the phone number, I opened a chat session and requested for cancellation. I got the billing summary email stating i would be paid 7.32 for this billing period.

I don't think they will restock it as such a steep discount usually indicates they're trying to get rid of it (especially the XL/256GB version). No discount on the P9/P9 Pro probably becuase they still sell.
Pixel 10 is still a few months away and this discount was going on for while, today BB matched the Google dropped the price by $200. So it's possible that they might restock.

I currently have a post-paid plan with AT&T on an unlocked phone. Will activating this phone with my number deactivate my old phone? I use a physical SIM card, when I get the phone can I just move the SIM card between the two phones?
Yes, you can. You do have to pay $35 activation fee if you go this route though.

Hello everyone how about getting it activated using Verizon and cancelling it. Any guidelines pls. Sorry if I missed that msg.
You should be able to do that. If you want a new VZW number you have to go to a BB store otherwise port a throwaway number.

got it. Do you know which one is easier (hopefully just online chat with no need to call) to cancel with? ATT or Verizon?
I think both are same in terms of effort. I have done these with ATT in the past.

What happens if you never activate? They send you a bill? A bill for a service you never used?

Never activate the phone? The line is already activated when you pick up the phone. No matter what they will end up sending you a bill, refer to one plus thread I linked in the original post.

So i got this confirmation from ATT

"You're so set. Your former service provider has approved your request to transfer xxxxx.

Your transfer will be completed when you activate the service. Click here to activate"

1. Do i need to activate to cancel the service?

2. Or just go to ATT and chat to cancel it without activation.

(Fyi: I picked up the device)

It's better to activate the service and then cancel. You can head to the chat first but I'm not sure if they will help you if the service is not activated.
