PSA: Be careful if you're scheduled to pickup on Friday. The activation timer may starts on Friday but the CS aren't availble on weekends, which means you only have whatever hours left on Friday to attempt cancelling the line.

Nothing to add about this deal, but I got this phone a couple months ago and I have to say it's the best phone I've ever used. My wife got a Iphone 16 pro max and the camera on the Pixel 9 pro XL puts it to shame - especially when zoomed in. And the battery is usually around 40% when I go to bed at night after heavy use all day.

So if you're on the fence about this phone, don't be - you'll love it!

Fingers crossed the BB pickup goes well

If the line was there and now it's gone you should be good.

Picked up the 9 pro XL today, traded in my pixel 7. The BB guy let me do the data transfer in the shop, which was nice. 30minutes later, I walked out with the new phone.
I asked BB for the pin code for ATT based on what I read here but they had no clue of what it could be. I cancelled the ATT service by chat when I got home, no charge. Pretty amazing deal, $118 all in for the upgrade from P7 to P9ProXl. Thanks OP !!!

OK, this is what happened to me: I gave a GV number but didn't provide the PIN and the port got stuck. I received the phone via UPS today and then I called ATT cancellation line 800.331.0500. The agent had to connect with the different agent with the porting section, but they were able to cancel the pending port and remove my account. It took about 45mins, but at the end, I didn't have to pay anything.

Yeah if the port gets stuck, then they can't start the line but I recall someone receiving a bill still from one plus thread but I am not sure.

The rep specifically stated that there won't be any charges, so hoping that is true. I should add that he was extremely helpful too.

Chat with VZ to cancel. If you can't log into the account and need the phone number then you can pop it in and get it.
