PSA: Be careful if you're scheduled to pickup on Friday. The activation timer may starts on Friday but the CS aren't availble on weekends, which means you only have whatever hours left on Friday to attempt cancelling the line.

Nothing to add about this deal, but I got this phone a couple months ago and I have to say it's the best phone I've ever used. My wife got a Iphone 16 pro max and the camera on the Pixel 9 pro XL puts it to shame - especially when zoomed in. And the battery is usually around 40% when I go to bed at night after heavy use all day.

So if you're on the fence about this phone, don't be - you'll love it!

Can you please explain the steps you followed . Really appreciate it.
Very simple:
Just pop in the sim to get the phone number then setup your account online without entering your CC info. Then, tap on the chat button on the right bottom corner and type "representative" and wait for the live agent to joint you then ask to disconnect the service immediately today, the reason is "your plans are expensive compared to other carriers"

It's possible then are out of stock wans waiting from Google/warehouse. You can separately cancel the other line meanwhile.
I got the ready for pickup for my line one and the second line says - getting ready for pickup today. If I cancel the first line now will it hurt the second phone to be ready for pickup? I am thinking I should wait for the second phone to be ready as well but I also don't want to be hit with the bill and activation fee. What should I do now?

Those should be separate cancellations and independent of each other but I can't say for sure, will you be over 3 days if you pick up today for the other line. Also which carrier are you doing this with? If with ATT there is an automatic way to get rid of activation fee even after 3 days

AT&T new account. I placed the order on Sunday afternoon EST. I got emails that account has been created last night right after best buy sent an email that my order is delayed (turns out its an issue with porting). I also had an email right after the order was placed asking to confirm my email. This morning the status is ready for pickup and "Preparing for Pickup Today".

The line is activated when it's getting ready pick up so you should be good. When you remove the ATT bill you can click on "Don't recognize this fee" under Actination fee to instantly get an one time waive See wiki of this thread https://slickdeals.net/f/17327499-oneplus-nord-n30-5g-128gb-unlocked-chromatic-gray-cph2513-best-buy-0 for details.

No you don't need to activate, the phone is factory unlocked. I think ATT might still charge an activation fee but I'm not sure.

I placed an order for local pickup and got an email that the phone is out of stock.

I did a new verizon line. What are my options now? If I cancel the order, what will happen to the Verizon line? Is it activated?

It's not activated until they have the phone and you should get an email also when the line is activated.

so its safe to

1. Either wait for phone to be available in stock and get a order ready for pickup.
or
2. cancel the order right now and dont worry about contacting verizon to cancel the line since its not even activated.

FYI, as discussed on the target pixel 8a thread, you can get pixel 8a from target for $299 and trade it in for $490 towards a 9 pro xl,.making the effective cost of $310 before tax (so $90 lower than this deal)

I placed an online order and selected Pixel 7 for trade-in. However, on the order details page, I don't see the trade-in phone details (the name of Pixel 7), and in the order confirmation email, it says, "Trade-in Item (Description Unavailable)." Has anyone else faced the same issue? I get the $290 credit included in the price, but I want to ensure the store doesn't create any problems when I do the pickup and trade-in.
