I got these, they are more red than brown on the uppers but they still look good and are comfortable.

I bought the brown pair and like others said, it has more red than brown. I still like them. Only issue I am having is the top rear tip bites (if that is the right word) when I walk. It was painful. Any tips on how to alleviate this? I am wearing socks...

Good call. Starting to recall how my Vans fit - definitely rubs in the back. Was on the fence but will pass.
