Yup, that why I have these. The dongle may be large, but there's absolutely no connection issues.
That 7.1 vs. stereo makes a big difference in some games, and I don't think I would buy any more stereo only units. This headset is $10 more and is only stereo which is yet another reflection of huge inflation.
The G430 headset was nice until the plastic on each ear piece broke leaving them dangling by the wire. They didn't break from dropping them but simply normal use. I can still use them but with only tape holding them they don't fit tightly against my ears.

As far as meetings or gaming, if you are in a noisy environment you may have trouble hearing. I have no idea how good the mic is at filtering out ambient noise.
Looks like this will be the cheapest price other than when they clearance them out.

What prices are considered a good deal on a 7.1 headset nowadays? I'll need to buy a replacement soon, and I'm not sure if I should stick with Logitech or get another brand. The problem isn't the sound quality but just that the plastic or wires break... almost like they are cheaply made in another country and designed to fail after the warranty ends.
