The removable handles are not good long term. I have had them give out and drop the pan when I picked it up just from the handle. The pots and pans themselves seem fine.

Non-stick pans are disposables. No matter how expensive or cheap, most only last a couple years at best.

b/c it's insignificant and no credible science has proven any increased risk from normal exposure. but you're probably one that thinks vaccines are toxic and sunscreen causes cancer.

My parents nonstick cookware are 15-20 years old, and the nonstick coating is still going strong. There are gouges but no chipping or peeling. It has an ultrathick Quaternium coating which is PTFE (aka Teflon) reinforced with titanium.

For what it's worth, studies show that PTFE lasts longer than ceramic coating. That's because PTFE is soft and flexible while ceramic is brittle. A few impacts and the ceramic will chip.

https://www.nature.com/articles/s...24-00742-2

PFAS in drinking water was associated with increased cancer incidence in the digestive, endocrine, oral cavity/pharynx, and respiratory systems. Incidence rate ratios (IRRs) ranged from 1.02 to 1.33. The strongest association was observed between PFBS and oral cavity/pharynx cancers (IRR: 1.33 [1.04, 1.71]). Among males, PFAS was associated with cancers in the urinary, brain, leukemia, and soft tissues. Among females, PFAS was associated with cancers in the thyroid, oral cavity/pharynx, and soft tissue. PFAS in drinking water is estimated to contribute to 4626 [95% CI: 1,377, 8046] incident cancer cases per year based on UCMR3 data and 6864 [95% CI: 991, 12,804] based on UCMR5.

This is exactly what I'm talking about, any gouges into the original surface is considered unsafe. I have nonstick pots about 15 years old, however, before I learned these need silicone utensils they got gouged and are not considered safe. I also probably cooked it higher than the recommended 350F which makes the nonstick unstable. So, I just use them to steam food like tamales or dim sum above a metal rack.

"Non-stick cookware: While some PFAS can be used in making some non-stick cookware coatings, they are joined together in large molecules (polymerized) and are tightly bound to the cookware, so very little is capable of getting into food, according to the FDA."
A video about non-stick pans safety
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FNNKhVoUu8&t=
You can chip off the non-stick coating on most of these pans and eat it in your food, if you wanted anyway. Teflon(PTFE) is inert and is safe if you accidentally eat some of it.
I use non-stick pans myself because it's easy mainly. I wouldn't buy this set in this deal in particular because it seems really cheap. Not saying you should spend $100 on one non-stick pan but maybe something Ikea sells or a cheap T-fal would be a better option. The bigger concern to me than any safety issues is that they're eventually disposable pans, and it's one more thing in the landfill eventually. Although for me anyway I can get at least 3 years out of the pans I've bought. Also, if you're going to buy a pan because you want food to not stick to it, either get real PTFE teflon pans or get cast iron. Don't bother with ceramic pans, just get stainless steel at that point.
